Boots on iRank · Learning
When the team is current, the store takes the board.
Inspire, optometry quals, advisor pathways, and delivery NVQs already live on Boots learning platforms. The League is that number as a season: percent current, not who finished at 11pm.

What counts
On your store board
- Share of eligible colleagues current on the live Inspire edition
- Pharmacy advisor, technician, and accuracy-checking pathways
- Optometry higher qualifications in flight
- Delivery-driver NVQ-level care training, by depot
What does not
Never ranked
- Who completed a module fastest
- Test scores or quiz percentages
- A pharmacy advisor against an independent prescriber
- Anyone who is not in the eligible cohort for that wave
For you
Why join the board
The prize is being current.
Protected learning time is the point. The board is a store that got everyone through the live module — not a race on the sofa after a late close.
Your role, your board.
Pharmacy advisors are not compared to independent prescribers. Drivers have a depot board. Optoms have theirs.
It resets every wave.
A new Inspire edition is a new season. Last wave’s winner is not frozen at the top.
This season’s rewards
What a winning store can get
Boots chooses the actual prize. This is the starter set that would sit on the Inspire board.
Wave board
The store or depot that first hits 100% current is named on the Inspire board for that edition.
Protected learning time
Suggested: the winning class gets a scheduled learning hour the following wave, already the behaviour L&D wants.
Team pot, not a personal prize
Advantage points or a staff-room kit for the store — never a bonus for finishing a module overnight.
Questions
Straight answers
- Do I have to rush the module?
- No. Speed is not ranked. Only whether the eligible team is current before the wave ends.
- What if I am on leave?
- Eligible cohort follows the rota Boots already uses for mandatory training. People on long leave are not in the denominator.
- Will other stores see that I have not finished?
- They see the store percentage, not a named list of who is outstanding. Your manager still has the LMS view they have today.
- I work in support office — am I in this?
- If your role has a live module in the wave, that team can have a board. Inspire itself is clinical; other programmes can sit beside it.
