Why join the board
The store is the athlete.
Your name is not on a consultation tally. The board shows the pharmacy — Piccadilly, Fort, your high street — against stores in the same size class.
Nothing extra at the end of a shift.
You already record the MOT and the jab. iRank reads what Boots already stores. You do not submit a score.
Most improved is a real board.
A store that climbs its class can take a shield even if it never sits at #1. Quiet January still counts.
This season’s rewards
What a winning store can get
Boots chooses the actual prize. This is the starter set that would sit on the Health Cup board.
Regional shield
A physical shield that sits in the winning region until the next flu season. Boots sets the object; iRank prints the board it came from.
Store community pot
Suggested: a donation in the store’s name to a local cause, or a team meal — not cash-per-consult, and not an individual bonus.
Most improved
A second board so a store that was buried last October can still win. Recognition, not a league of named clinicians.
Questions
Straight answers
- Is my name on the leaderboard?
- No. The Health Cup ranks stores and regions. Colleagues are not listed against consultation counts.
- Does this change my appraisal?
- It should not. The programme is a store season, not a personal target. If a manager treats it as one, that is outside the rules of the board.
- Do I have to join iRank?
- Joining lets you follow your store’s board and share it. The store still ranks if you never open the site — the data is already in Boots systems.
- Will this put me on the public iRank deadlift board?
- No. Workplace scores stay inside Boots. They never land on a world activity.
